How does race timing work?

Modified on Tue, 10 Feb at 1:12 PM

Each participant is issued a race bib with an attached RFID timing chip. This chip contains your unique participant information.

Timing mats are placed at multiple points along the race route. It is mandatory to cross every timing mat, as this records your split timings and confirms that you have completed the course correctly and in full.

Failure to cross the timing mats may result in missing or invalid timing data.
