I got a DNF in my results what do I do?

Modified on Tue, 10 Feb at 2:19 PM

If your result shows DNF (Did Not Finish), it usually means that the timing system did not record a complete race for you.

Why Does a DNF Happen?

In most cases, a DNF appears due to:

  • Skipping one or more timing mats on the course
  • The bib or RFID timing chip not being worn correctly
  • The timing chip being damaged, folded, or covered
  • Missing start or finish timing data

What You Should Do

If you believe the DNF is incorrect, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact the Support Team
Write to the support team with your race details.
  2. Share Supporting Evidence
Attach supporting activity data, such as:
    • Garmin activity link (preferred)
    • Any other GPS-based run tracking data
  3. Verification Process
The timing team will review the official timing data along with the evidence shared.

Important Notes

  • GPS or fitness tracker data is considered supporting evidence only.
  • If timing mat data is missing and no valid supporting evidence is provided, the DNF result will remain unchanged.
  • Participants with DNF results are not eligible for winner positions or prizes, even if the race distance appears completed on a personal device.
  • The final decision after verification by the Event Organizers and timing officials will be final and binding.
