What happens in case of bad weather or emergency?

Modified on Tue, 10 Feb at 3:44 PM

Participant safety is our top priority. In the event of bad weather, an emergency, or any unforeseen situation, the Event Organizers will take necessary action to ensure the safety of all involved.

Situations That May Affect the Event

The event may be modified, delayed, stopped, postponed, or cancelled due to reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Major incidents or emergencies
  • Security threats or safety concerns
  • Government or authority restrictions
  • Any force majeure situation beyond the organizer’s control

Possible Actions by the Organizers

Depending on the situation, the Event Organizers may:

  • Delay the race start
  • Change or shorten the race route
  • Temporarily stop participants on the course
  • Alter the race distance
  • Postpone the event to a later date
  • Cancel the event entirely

All decisions will be made in the interest of participant safety and smooth event operations.

Communication During Such Situations

Any changes or instructions will be communicated through:

  • On-ground announcements
  • Volunteers and route marshals
  • Official communication channels such as email or SMS

Important Notes

  • Participants must follow all instructions issued by event officials and emergency personnel.
  • Decisions taken by the Event Organizers in such situations will be final and binding.
