Event Changes, Cancellation & Force Majeure Policy

To ensure the safety of all participants, volunteers, and staff, the Event Organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event under certain circumstances.

When Can the Event Be Changed, Postponed, or Cancelled?

The event may be stopped, postponed, modified, or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, including but not limited to:

  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Major incidents or emergencies
  • Safety threats or security concerns
  • Government, civic, or authority restrictions
  • Any other force majeure situation

Possible Event Modifications

If required to safely stage the event, the organizers may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Change or shorten the race route
  • Delay the start time of the race
  • Temporarily stop participants during the race
  • Alter the race distance
  • Postpone the event to a later date
  • Cancel the event

These decisions will be taken in the interest of participant safety and smooth event operations.

Authority of the Event Organizers

  • The Event Organizers have sole discretion and authority over event decisions.
  • This includes the right to cancel registrations or tickets, postpone the event, or make any necessary amendments in line with company policies and applicable guidelines.
  • All decisions made by the Event Organizers in such situations will be final and binding.

Communication

Any changes, postponements, or cancellations will be communicated to participants through official channels such as email, SMS, social media or the event website.
